Did you invest in a lovely digital camera which is now stuck on automatic mode because you don’t know what else to do?
Have you read the manual but still don’t understand what f:stops and shutter speeds are or why you need to know about them?
Would you like to know the basics of photography, some simple lessons to take better images and make the most of your camera?
Paparella’s founder, established photographer Nina Duncan, is holding workshops to help you take better pictures. Whether you want better shots of your children or to improve holiday snaps, this one-day workshop will help.
The day will cover a number of topics, including:
F:stops / Aperture
Shutter Speeds
ISO
Composing an image
Basic digital SLR functions
The workshop will combine a mix of theory and practice. You will need to have your camera with you as after a morning in the “classroom” we will head out and put into action all you’ve learned. There will be time to make some mistakes, ask questions and end the day with tools to keep playing with and an improved ability to take great pictures.
